Homeschooling Online - Let’s Start With The Basics
I know that most people are pretty familiar with the concept of homeschooling and understand what it is for the most part. However, with the public school system progressive getting worse in what and how they teach our children, many more parents are beginning to seriously consider home school each day.
So exactly what is homeschooling? Well, the online encyclopedia, Wickipedia, defines homeschooling as simply the educating of children at home vs the public or private school setting. It is an option for parents who believe that thier kids can get a better education at home.
Some parents choose to go the homeschooling route for educational reasons and some do it for religious purposes. The bottom line is that parents feel there is something lacking in the traditional school setting that they can provide at home, either alone or in conjuction with the established school system.
