Homeschooling - Why Mothers Are Key To The Whole Thing

We all know that parents play an integral role in the ultimate success or failure of a homeschooling system.  The commitment to success must be made by both student and teacher.  Ultimately, in homeschooling, this often comes down to the mother.

Now while I don’t know specific numbers, I would imagine that the vast majority of home school teachers are mothers.   While the father is working outside the home, the mother of the family is often the one overseeing schoolwork, housework and everything else that is going on within the home.  Without the dedication and commitment of the mother, the education is not nearly as strong as it could be.

On this Mother’s Day, I would like to take a minute to thank all of the mothers who do dedicate themselves to seeing that their children succeed.  I know that all mothers can’t or choose not to do homeschooling, but for those who do, an extra thank you is well deserved.  Enjoy this day & take a much-needed break from the stress.

Happy Mother’s Day!!
